Who We Are

Sian Freestone-Walker – Crisis Communications Specialist

Sian brings 25 years’ experience, providing strategic counsel and delivery for organisations navigating complex reputational challenges.  

Sian previously worked in the press office at Merseyside Police, managing proactive media engagement and reactive communications during high-profile incidents.  

This experience has informed her calm, confident approach to crisis response. She has since worked for the Home Office, an international, FTSE 250 transport company and a number of UK based companies and higher education institutes delivering crisis communications packages and advising senior management teams.

Lindsay Reid – PR and Media Expert

Lindsay has over 20 years’ experience in media and PR, starting her career as a journalist and going on to work with both established and emerging brands across multiple sectors, guiding them in raising and managing their profile with creative PR, strategic media relations and crisis communication management.  

Lindsay has worked with companies across transport, housing, entertainment, tech and wellbeing and has handled multiple high-profile crisis communications situations.

PACKAGE 1

DIY Crisis Response Plan (template) – £497

We provide an off-the-shelf crisis communications plan and guide that gives you and your senior team clear, step-by-step guidance when it matters most. The plan is written by humans with years of experience – it sets out a comprehensive checklist of actions and considerations to help you stay focused and identify your top priorities during a crisis.

It includes the latest crisis communications guidance, and shares a simple process outlining key actions, approval steps, timelines, and communication channels, along with practical tips to help you navigate decisions under pressure.

The document is also accompanied by a comprehensive tutorial video, providing expert guidance for every section of the plan.

Designed as a practical toolkit that you can tailor to your business, it takes the guesswork out of crisis response — giving you confidence, structure and reassurance when facing a real-time challenge.

PACKAGE 2

Hand holding – assistance in completing the Crisis Response Plan – £997

You may choose to complete the off-the-shelf plan (Option 1) in-house, but if you would value expert input, we can guide you through it step by step. We’ll get to know your business in advance and then guide you through the potential crisis situations your business may face, to support your completion of the plan.

We’ll challenge your planned responses where needed, and ensure your plan is practical, robust, and a strong crisis communications foundation for your particular business. We’ll also provide a final review of your plan and an optional 30-minute call is included for you to ask any additional questions.

PACKAGE 3

Fully Managed Crisis Scenarios and Media Response Framework – price on enquiry

This package provides a comprehensive crisis scenarios document, presented as a clear, easy-to-use table. It sets out a range of potential scenarios, suggested responses, and guidance, along with key contacts responsible for approvals and updates.

To ensure the content is completely tailored to your organisation, we will speak with an agreed number of subject matter experts within your business to identify additional risks and develop appropriate responses. (Interviews can be carried out remotely, or in person at additional cost)

The final document can also include draft responses linked to Freedom of Information requests, and will deliver a media issues table with key media messaging, extended Q&As for more complex issues, and practical media-handling notes — for example, clarifying when to notify partners or how to coordinate if emergency services are in the lead.

All responses are refined and approved by your designated personnel, with the final version delivered as an editable document so you can keep it updated internally.

PACKAGE 4

Crisis Communications Support – Critical friend – price on enquiry

We will act as a critical friend as you navigate your business through a crisis. Available at the end of the phone, we will listen to your plans and your draft responses and will offer a safe space for you to share and discuss your proposed actions. We’ll make recommended changes where necessary and will offer our experience and knowledge to help assist you in dealing with the situation.

This critical friend package covers a 12-month period and provides up to three days of support in this way within that timeframe.

Having this package in place ahead of any crisis means peace of mind – you know the support is there when you need it, and the budget has been covered in advance, so you can focus on handling the situation in the best way possible.

PACKAGE 5

Crisis Communications Support – retainer – price on enquiry

When an issue arises, we respond quickly with senior-level expertise to manage communications and protect your reputation. We’re available 24/7 during live incidents, acting as an extension of your team. We draft holding statements, advise on tone and timing, manage media interest, coordinate messaging across channels and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.

Our approach is calm, thoughtful and discreet. We safeguard your commercial interests while meeting the demands of public scrutiny. We take time to understand the full context so we can speak credibly with journalists, helping to prevent coverage where possible or ensure fair, balanced reporting. We also prepare detailed briefings for senior management to reassure stakeholders with clear, accurate information.

We use AI-driven media monitoring, supported by human insight, to track unfolding coverage.

This retainer includes 10 days of support over 12 months, with reduced rates for additional days. As part of the setup, we also provide a complimentary remote stakeholder-mapping session to help you identify and prioritise key audiences for timely communication.
